Renewable Energy

Pamplona, Spain

The course is eminently practical and the classes are complemented by tours of the most representative facilities in Navarre related to the course material. The classes will have a practical component based on the introduction, analysis and discussion of practical cases. There are two housing options for this program (homestay or apartment), and there is an option to add a two-week, non-credit general Spanish language course to the beginning of their program. All students will enroll in CME 599: Renewable Energies (6 credit hours).

Engineering and Calculus IV in Karlsruhe

Karlsruhe & Munich, Germany

This five week program is designed specifically for engineering students. On this program, students will complete both Calculus IV and EGR 196/199 through a number of company and cultural site visits. All courses delivered on this program are taught in English by UK faculty members. Students are to explore globalization in the engineering profession through visits to local companies and organizations. Students will experience German life by living with an English-speaking host family, meals included. Students will have the opportunity for additional, independent travel on the weekends.

UK Exchange

This is a rare opportunity for engineering majors to combine research and study on an exchange experience. From January to March students can conduct research with a Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) faculty member and then spend April to July taking classes. Students taking Mechanical Engineering courses at KIT can take a bypass exam after their return to UK to receive full credit.
