Sandee holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Soochow University in China, and a master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. She then earned her Master’s in Public Policy from the UK Martin School of Public Policy & Administration in May 2014, further extending her abilities in the areas of nonprofit financial management. While in China, she worked for the global accounting firm KPMG, one of the world’s “Big Four” auditing corporations. She then worked as an accounting specialist in one of KPMG’s clients, the non-profit Boao Forum for Asia in Beijing, before coming to the US. Here in Lexington, she acquired further grant familiarity by working in Accounts Payable and Donor Reporting, for the US-based International nonprofit, Save the Children Foundation. Sandee is a Certified Public Accountant in Canada.
