Yinghong Huang is a coordinator for the University of Kentucky Confucius Institute (UKCI). She serves as the primary coordinator for the “Faculty Teach in China,” student travel grant, and faculty grant programs. She also teaches Chinese community courses and cooperates with her colleagues to host other community activities.
Yinghong Huang received her bachelors degree in Nursing Science in June, 2006, and worked as a nurse following her graduation. She changed career paths in 2010, when she obtained the Certificate for English Teachers from the Chinese Ministry of Education and began teaching high school. In July 2017, she earned her Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Language (CTCSOL). She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Education Management and is expected to graduate in 2019.
