Shoulder to Shoulder Global works shoulder to shoulder with community members to improve the health and well-being of a Santo Domingo, Ecuador population of more than 20,000. 

Approximately 150 participants from the University of Kentucky take part in four annual brigades. Brigade participants include a healthy mix of undergraduate, graduate and professional students, faculty, staff and Kentucky community members.  Brigade participants, including both the Santo Domingo and University of Kentucky communities, share the significance of this work.
