Going to school in Xi'an was one of the coolest things I have ever done because I got to see how people my age live. All the students were very nice and by the first day I felt at home sitting in class with the students.” –Kellye, 2013 Participant
The experience was more than I could have asked for. Not just touring the country, but with other students like myself from other parts of Kentucky was eye-opening. The trip was truly amazing and I've learned so much about the world and myself. With this, the future is looking a lot brighter and I'm excited to start my senior year!” –Kyle, 2013 Participant
Being able to be in China for two weeks was an experience that I will not soon forget and has shown me how different some parts of the world could be and how great traveling the world is and how it helps you truly understand people and their lives.”—JT, 2014 Participant
This trip has provided me with some of the most helpful experiences I could ask for. I learned how adapt to new living circumstances, how to become responsible of your utmost important belongings, how to live with a total stranger (don't worry, I ended up loving my roommate), and how to stay positive”—Madison, 2014 Participant
The University of Kentucky's Confucius Institute summer trip to China made traveling to a foreign country the best, worry-free experience of a lifetime. The trip was sponsored, safe, easy, and unforgettable. It was both a wonderful learning experience and chance to tour and explore China.”—Naomi, 2016 Participant
