Faculty-Directed

On this program, students will complete CME 599: Renewable Energies (6 credit hours). All courses delivered on this program are taught in English by UK faculty members. This program is a collaboration between the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and Ingenio International in conjunction with the Association of Industrial Engineers of Navarre in Pamplona, Spain. Students have the option to add a two-week, non-credit bearing general Spanish Language and Culture course prior to the four week Renewable Energies program.

Founded more than 130 years ago as Tokyo college, the school was renamed Waseda University in 1902 in honour of the founder's home village. Waseda University is consistently ranked among the top institutions in Japan. Course align with UK curriculum, and additional option to take Japanese language courses.

Maynooth University

Maynooth, Ireland

Maynooth University (MU) is located in the beautiful, historic town of Maynooth, just 15 miles west of Dublin city centre. The campus combines historic 18th century buildings with state of the art research and teaching facilities and is close to Ireland's 'Silicon Valley'. Maynooth maintains strong links with Intel, HP, Google and more than 50 other giants of industry. Students have access to entire course catalogue, including courses that align with UK computer science courses. Summer direct option is also available.

Heidelberg University

Heidelberg, Germany

Heidelberg is a city of fairytale surroundings and home to one of the\ oldest universities in Europe. Established in 1386, Universitat Heidelberg has consistently been ranked in the top three universities in Germany and the top 50 worldwide. Students must complete up to GER 202 by the time of participation. Classes offered include Linear Algebra, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, and more.

On campus, students have a wide range of opportunities for leisure-time and recreational activities, with numerous societies, initiatives and several cafes.
