Universidad del Norte (ISA)

Barranquilla, Colombia

The Universidad del Norte is one of the top universities in Colombia and the Caribbean region. All engineering programs are accredited by the ABET. At Universidad del Norte, you'll have the opportunity to take classes in English with local university students, as well as Spanish coursework with native Spanish speakers. The university is located in Barranquilla, Colombia, the largest city and second largest port in the country's Caribbean region. The city is also home to one of the most important folk and cultural festivals of Colombia, the Carnival of Barranquilla.

Set yourself apart from the competition by taking engineering courses abroad. Paris is an ideal destination for engineering majors, a city where many scientists and mathematicians have made significant contributions to the field. As a student at the CEA Paris Study Center, you can take Calculus III, and additional Engineering electives.

Direct

This 5-week summer program introduced students to the engineering technology around the production of automobiles through a series of lectures led by various innovators and engineers. The program offers academic credits towards students' engineering degrees and, beyond the core curriculum; students may further supplement their practical know-how with enrichment as they are exposed to the authentic environment of the automobile factory and research center. Students also have the option of completing an intensive Japanese language course.

The Maynooth University Engineering & Computer Science summer school gives you the chance to earn credit and enjoy classes with experienced and enthusiastic instructors while also experiencing life in an Irish town located in the Celtic heart of Europe. The Summer areas of study include Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Anthropology, Public Speaking & Communication, Geography, Irish History, and Cultural Heritage of Ireland.

Exchange

This is a rare opportunity for engineering majors to combine research and study on an exchange experience. From January to March students can conduct research with a Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) faculty member and then spend April to July taking classes. Students taking Mechanical Engineering courses at KIT can take a bypass exam after their return to UK to receive full credit.

Maynooth University

Maynooth, Ireland

Maynooth University (MU) is located in the beautiful, historic town of Maynooth, just 15 miles west of Dublin city centre. Maynooth has excellent transport connections to Dublin city centre and the rest of Ireland, providing the ideal location from which students can explore the capital city and the country. Students have access to entire course catalogue, including courses that align with engineering core courses. Summer direct option is also available.

TU Berlin is also a member of the TU 9 Consortium of German Institutes of Technology, a group of nine traditional German universities with an excellent reputation in the fields of engineering, technology and natural sciences. The main campus is centrally located in the western part of Berlin and is well-placed for anyone interested in the capital‘s rich cultural life, offering concerts, exhibitions, sports events and the infamous „Kneipen“. On campus, students have a wide range of opportunities for leisure-time and recreational activities, with numerous societies, initiatives and several cafes. TUB's sports program ranges from Aikido to indoor climbing. Take all your classes in English. No German language requirement.
