International Student Organizations

The International Student Council (ISC) is the umbrella organization for the many international student groups on campus.  The ISC encourages international and US students to join together to plan fun events and promote international understanding across cultures.

One of the ways to get involved on campus is to join the International Student Council (ISC).  The campus also has many country, culture, and language groups. To connect with additional groups, you can search BBNvolved.

ISC's mission:

  • Promote communication among all international student organizations in order to coordinate and consolidate activities of international students.

  • Participate actively within the Student Government Association of the University of Kentucky in order to promote and protect the interests of international students.

  • Unite the voice of international students concerning matters pertaining to their welfare.

  • Promote understanding among the various cultures within the university and the community-at-large

  • Some of ISC’s recent events include a Volleyball Tournament, Holiday Potluck, International Night, Game Night, and Movie Nights.
