The University of Kentucky Confucius Institute will celebrate the traditional Chinese New Year with the Kentucky Chinese American Association from 4:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2018 at the Lexington Opera House. Families can participate in various hands-on activities at the holiday market, such as calligraphy, Chinese knot-tying, paper-cutting and Chinese lantern making.
After that, a stage performance featuring Chinese music, dance and acrobatics will be presented at 7:00 pm. The UK Confucius Institute martial arts specialist will lead the STEAM Academy Dragon Dance Team to kick off the show. Come and join us for this very special event!
