All students participating in a for-credit Education Abroad program are required to attend a Pre-Departure Orientation as part of the EAP 599 course. Students will receive email invite to the orientations that are being offered for based on specific program types, experiences or terms.

Fulbright student, Sofia Ferraz, has spent the last few months dedicated to her postgraduate research in marketing, as well as exploring all that the University of Kentucky and Lexington have to offer. Over the months that she has spent at UK, Ferraz has been involved with multiple groups and societies both on campus and around Lexington.
UK Education Abroad will hold six Re-Entry (Welcome Back) sessions on campus. All students enrolled in EAP 599 are required ONE of the following sessions, all of which will take place in Whitehall Classroom Building at the below specified times

The University of Kentucky International Center (UKIC) has been in contact with all registered UK students studying in the United Kingdom after the appalling bombing that took place yesterday at a concert in Manchester. All those studying in Manchester and nearby universities are safe and accounted for.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The Ohio State University, Angel Algarin had plans to become a veterinarian. He would soon find out that he had to steer himself in another direction. Algarin wanted to study HIV/AIDS, and he knew that he had to find a way to follow this passion. Soon after, he applied for the master’s degree program in public health at the University of Kentucky.
