The University of Kentucky will soon officially open its Global Model Confucius Institute. The dedication ceremony will take place on September 25, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Lucille Little Fine Arts Library ground floor. UK leaders and presidents of Shanghai University, Jilin University, and Beijing Language and Culture University will be present to officially dedicate the newly renovated space, which has been designed to be a welcoming and functional base for UK's Confucius Institute.
Following the ribbon cutting, a celebratory performance of Inner Mongolian Dances and Music will be held in Singletary Center’s Recital Hall from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It is free and open to the public.
