Alexander Aston Zapata maintains the Education Abroad website, collects and analyzes student data, creates custom software solutions, and supports the Education Abroad office in all aspects of maintaining and troubleshooting the Terra Dotta online application portal. Aston Zapata completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Spanish and Music from Kentucky Wesleyan College. He studied abroad in Costa Rica, researching ecotourism and conservation, and presented that work at the NAFSA Region VI Conference. Prior to his appointment at the University of Kentucky, Aston Zapata was a software developer at Sun Windows in Owensboro, KY.
