Daniel Flener is Director of Marketing and Communications for the University of Kentucky International Center, where he leads and supports the UKIC in all marketing and communications efforts. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting Communications from Western Kentucky University and also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN.
Prior to serving at UK, Daniel served as Director of Digital Marketing at BrainBox Intelligent Marketing in Lexington, KY, where he won a Webby Award for Best Sports Website Redesign. He then served as Director of Content Marketing at Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY. At the University of Kentucky International Center, he creates promotional materials and news releases and oversees the content on UKIC’s social media and website.
