Mitch Snider, PhD, helps faculty and staff at the university establish or renew international partnerships between UK and non-US institutions. These partnerships might entail education abroad students, international students, international research projects, or staff mobility, for example. He also works on the Global Footprint, an information-rich source for all things international at the university that includes publication data, faculty expertise, student mobility, and a wealth of other information. He compiles, edits, and visualizes data that is published in the Global Footprint, so if you have any data that you do not see represented in the Global Footprint, please reach out to him.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Mitch Snider received his PhD in Geography from the University of Kentucky in 2016. He won the Innovation in Internationalization Award in 2022 from the University of Kentucky International Center. He was part of a cohort of professors at the University of Kentucky to teach in China, and was placed at the Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai to teach a summer course on the Geography of the United States in 2018.
