EAPA Education Abroad Peer Ambassadors
Breadcrumb
Get a student perspective.
Ask an EAPA.
Our Education Abroad Peer Ambassadors (EAPAs) are UK students (like you!) who have recently returned from their own education abroad program and are passionate about helping other students have their own life-changing international experience.
Thinking about studying abroad but not sure where to start? The Education Abroad Peer Ambassadors are here to help. They’ve been in your shoes--- navigating applications, preparing for travel, and adjusting to life in another country-- and are here to share what they’ve learned and help you get started. Our EAPAs lead First Steps sessions, staff our EA Advising Center, and, of course, love to talk about their time abroad.
Attend a First Steps Session
Start your journey abroad by joining a First Steps session. During these short "EA 101" sessions, you’ll learn how to choose a program, navigate the application process, and hear tips from students who’ve already gone abroad.
Interested in becoming an EAPA?
If you've studied abroad as a UK student and are passionate about sharing your experience with others, you may just make a perfect EAPA! Email us at educationabroad@uky.edu to find out more.
