Common Questions and Answers

Before reaching out to the UKEA office, be sure to review the common questions and answers below.

I don't know where to start

Our First Steps Information Sessions are a great place to start if you have questions about Education Abroad!

In these sessions, we'll discuss everything you need to know to get started on your EA journey. E.g. how to select a program, earning credit abroad, cost, financial aid, scholarship information, and more! UK EA encourages all students starting this process to attend one of these sessions, and you must attend a First Steps session before meeting with your EA Advisor.

I want to find study abroad programs for my major/minor

Here's how to find programs that meet your major/minor or degree plan:

1. EA Major Advising Pages (MAPs) - Recommended

UK Education Abroad & Exchanges Has partnered with academic departments to identify programs that align with your degree plan. These are not the only programs available to you, but they are a good place to get started.

To view the map page for your degree visit the UK EA main page and scroll down to the Discover Programs by College dropdown menu.
