Berlin Summer Studio

Program Highlights

  • Explore the infrastructural framework of Berlin and the relationship between the urban object and the network of movement in a contemporary city.   
  • Collaborate with visiting international design universities, participate in design workshops, and have immediate access to the internationally renowned Aedes gallery. 
  • Participate in an immersive studio experience in the unique setting of Berlin.

Italy: Art, Architecture, and Heritage

Program Highlights

  • Study the architecture and art of the Renaissance on the ground in Florence, Venice, and other towns in Tuscany and the Veneto.
  • Examine the concept of “World Heritage” and the discourses, policies, and international conventions attached to that label. 
  • Visit major historic and cultural sites and museums as part of our exploration of the culture of Renaissance Italy.
