Business Goes Global: Corporate Finance and Strategic Communication in Paris

  • Gain International Business Experience: Explore La Défense, Europe's premier business district and the largest in the EU. Visit Paris-based companies and learn from industry experts through site visits and guest lectures.
  • Analyze Business Operations at Disneyland Paris: Analyze Disneyland Paris through an automatically embedded micro-internship: case studies and hands-on projects woven into the FIN 300 and CIS 300 curriculum. Spend a day at the resort as a guest and a strategist, focusing on the role corporate sponsors play in the resort’s success.
  • Enhance Cross-Cultural Skills: Strengthen intercultural acumen by exploring Paris's culture, history, and landmarks: the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, and more!

Embedded: Business Analytics in Leeds

  • Explore global data analytics and intercultural business communication in England’s third largest city during spring break.
  • Day trip to York: Tour the York racetrack and York Minster (cathedral), enjoy a traditional fish and chips meal, and explore one of the best-preserved medieval shopping districts in Europe.
  • This special section of AN 300 - Introduction to Business Analytics is being offered through a collaboration between University of Leeds and University of Kentucky.
  • Unique cultural exchange experience: You will get to meet your Leeds classmates during the spring break trip to England, and, in turn, Leeds students will visit Kentucky during their spring break in April. Cultural seminars and company site visits will afford numerous networking opportunities.
