Pre-Approval Review
UK EA completes a review of each student's conduct history in coordination with the UK Office for Student Conduct as part of the approval process. If a student has one or more conduct violations, they may be required to complete additional steps before being considered for program participation.
Conduct Abroad
While abroad, students are expected to uphold the University of Kentucky’s Student Code of Conduct. If a student violates the UK Student Code of Conduct while abroad, the infractions will be reported to the UK Office of Student Conduct for review to be handled through the standard disciplinary process.
Consequences of Violations while Abroad
Failure to adhere to the UK Student Code of Conduct while abroad may result in dismissal from a program. Dismissal from a program for these reasons could result in major financial and academic implications, and include additional on-campus disciplinary actions once you have returned to the U.S.
