The Graduate School, the International Center, and the Graduate Student Congress are committed to supporting incoming international graduate student during their academic pursuits, and that support begins in advance of their arrival.

As evidence of this support, you are invited to participate in GradCATS:  Graduate Community and Academic Transition Series, a free, 5-week, pre-orientation program for international graduate students who will be beginning their studies at UK.  This program is designed for those who are new to Lexington and graduate studies at UK.  This series of weekly online synchronous meetings will:

  • introduce you to UK and the surrounding area,
  • create a sense of community among incoming graduate students and with continuing graduate students, and
  • better prepare you for the academic demands of your program.
