Orientation
Orientation is a fantastic time to get to know your fellow international students and learn more about life at UK. After arriving on campus, you will participate in social gatherings and information sessions that will help you be successful as a student at the University of Kentucky.
*International Student Services is located at 160 Patterson Drive at the lower-level side entrance of the Lucille C. Little Fine Arts Library. Look for the red pillars outside!

Undergraduate Orientation Schedule
*Pre-arrival Zoom calls will be held on Wednesday, December 17 at 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET. Zoom link will be emailed.

- All Day – Arrival Date for New Students
- 5:00-6:30 PM – Pizza & Game Night at International Student Services*
- Wednesday, January 7
- 12:00-1:00 PM – Lunch at International Student Services*
- 1:00 PM: Campus Tour departing from International Student Services*
- Thursday, January 8
- 9:00 AM-1:00 PM: International Student Orientation at International Student Services*; lunch included
- 2:00-4:00 PM: J-1 Exchange Student Orientation with Laurence Tuccori in International Student Services*
- 4:00-5:30 PM: Hot Chocolate & S’mores Social at International Student Services*

- 8:30-9:15 AM: Check-In for Big Blue Nation Orientation (BBNO) at the Social Staircase in the Gatton Student Center
- 9:15 AM-12:00 PM: Big Blue Nation Orientation (BBNO) at the Worsham Cinema in the Gatton Student Center
- 5:00-6:30 PM: Dinner & Direction: Advice from Current Students on the Year Ahead at International Student Services*
