Allison Peoples is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish. During her sophomore year, Allison had the opportunity to study abroad in Granada, Spain on an ISA Partner Program, where she immersed herself in the Spanish language and gained practical experience through an internship with a sports tourism agency.
After returning from her study abroad program, Allison worked as an Education Abroad Peer Ambassador in the UKEA office, where she shared her experiences and encouraged other students to explore opportunities to study abroad.
Following her graduation from UK in 2018, Allison spent a year teaching English at a primary school in Madrid, Spain, where she continued to build her language skills and immerse herself in the local culture. She then returned to the University of Kentucky to complete a Master of Science in Higher Education, with a focus on Student Affairs and International Education, which she completed in May 2022. As a 2x UK alumna, Allison's experiences have equipped her with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the importance of education abroad.
