Exchange student finds a home away from home

For University of Kentucky students, January marks the start of the spring semester and a return to campus after winter break. But for Giuliana Jaramillo, this past January meant a journey to a new country and a new home at UK. A student at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, located in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, Jaramillo is completing a semester exchange at the University of Kentucky, where she is studying marketing and business.

UK International Center emphasizes global learning at first ever Global Fair for Faculty and Staff

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 13, 2025) – The University of Kentucky International Center recently hosted its first ever Global Fair for Faculty and Staff in the Gatton Student Center. The fair brought together globally-minded UK employees.  to network and promote global learning opportunities at UK.

Applications open for seed funding to stimulate global research partnerships

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 7, 2025) — UKinSPIRE (Seeding Partnerships for International Research Engagement), an internal funding opportunity for University of Kentucky faculty, is now accepting applications for FY25-26 with a deadline of March 28.
