Highlighted Programs
Partner
Partner programs are run by third party companies whose whole job is facilitating academic experiences abroad. Our partners provide support to students before, during, and after their program and often have on-site staff in your program's host city or country to help with any issues that may arise.
Advanced Russian Language & Area Studies Program (American Councils)
The program provide approximately 20 hours per week of in-class instruction in Russian grammar, phonetics, conversation and cultural studies in Kazakhstan.
Russian Studies (SRAS)
SRAS has a number of programs in Eurasia during fall, spring and summer terms. Learn Russian language in the following approved unique locations: Bishkek Kyrgystan and Batsumi Georgia.
Exchange
An exchange program offers a unique chance to delve into a different culture and academic setting for a full semester or year. They cost closest to your UK cost of attendance, making them a great deal for resident, in-state students.
Direct
Direct enroll programs allow you to enroll directly as a non-degree seeking international student at a partner institution abroad. They're often the lowest cost option for out of state students.
Faculty-Directed Programs
A faculty-directed education abroad program is a University of Kentucky course designed and led by UK faculty or staff.
