Students are responsible for paying all costs associated with participation in a UK Education Abroad program. Program costs vary depending on the program type (e.g., Exchange, Partner, or Faculty-Directed). Each program's cost breakdown is detailed on the UK EA program page.
- Fixed and Estimated Costs: Detailed information about fixed program fees and estimated expenses is provided on each program page. Students are responsible for reviewing these costs and planning accordingly.
- Payment Responsibility: All program-related costs, including tuition, housing, travel, and other fees, are the student's responsibility.
- With the exception of Faculty Directed Programs, UK does not make any payments on a student's behalf.
- UK EA awards scholarships to students and does not pay scholarships directly to program providers.
Failure to pay required fees to the University of Kentucky and/or the organization facilitating the program may result in cancellation of a student's program participation, inability to transfer in academic credit, and/or their student billing account will be referred to a collections agency.
