Per UK's international education travel policy in Administrative Regulation 4:9, undergraduate students, graduate and professional students, and GME residents may only engage in educational travel in countries or regions under a U.S. Department of State Level 3 (Reconsider Travel) or Level 4 (Do Not Travel) Travel Advisory upon successful completion of a mandatory review process, and with the approval of the Associate Provost for Internationalization.
Depending on the nature of a student or resident's intended program, the mandatory review process may entail the preparation of appeal documentation and/or an in-person meeting with the International Health, Safety & Security (IHSS) Committee.
