Partner Study

Partner programs are run by third party companies whose whole job is facilitating academic experiences abroad. Our partners provide support to students before, during, and after their program and often have on-site staff in your program's host city or country to help with any issues that may arise.

University of Nicosia (Global Semesters)

Spend your semester or summer studying abroad aside the Mediterranean Sea in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Summer in Scandinavia (DIS)

DIS offers a diverse range of health-related courses, spanning topics such as global health, public health, biomedicine, and health science. You can choose to study abroad with DIS in Copenhagen, Denmark, or Stockholm, Sweden for 3-9 weeks during the summer term. You may be able to fulfill a cognate requirement with a DIS summer course.

Clinical Shadowing Abroad (CEA CAPA)

Atlantis by CEA CAPA Education Abroad offers hospital shadowing abroad for pre-health students. Get 20–200+ hospital shadowing hours and shadow doctors in Spain, Italy, Greece, and more. Rotate through a new specialty each week to give you greater depth, breadth, quantity and intercultural perspective.

Partner Intern

Partner programs are run by third party companies whose whole job is facilitating academic experiences abroad. Our partners will arrange a guaranteed internship abroad and provide support to students before, during, and after their program.

Exchange

An exchange program offers a unique chance to delve into a different culture and academic setting for a full semester or year. They cost closest to your UK cost of attendance, making them a great deal for resident, in-state students.

Direct

Direct enroll programs allow you to enroll directly as a non-degree seeking international student at a partner institution abroad. They're often the lowest cost option for out of state students.

Faculty-Directed Programs

A faculty-directed education abroad program is a University of Kentucky course designed and led by UK faculty or staff.

Shoulder to Shoulder Global

Shoulder to Shoulder Global (STSG) is a UK Global Health Initiatives organization that integrates academic and community partners to improve the health and well-being of an underserved community in Santo Domingo, Ecuador.

Students, faculty, staff and community members can participate in these transformative, short-term experiences in global health (StEGH).
